Abstract (EN)
A new hexadentate ligand tiyosemikarbazon and their metal complexes were synthesized and characterized by a combination of 13C-, 1H-NMR, IR, UV-Vis, mass spectral studies and magnetic moments. The geometries of the metal chelates were discussed with the help of magnetic and spectroscopic measurements. I.r. spectra show that the ligand acts in a tetradentate manner and coordinates.
