Abstract (EN)

Basically, the concept of occupational health and safety was born with the Industrial Revolution. However, it is also possible to talk about occupational and worker safety in a simple sense in periods when production was carried out with classical methods. Indeed, from time to time, it was recommended to eat high-calorie foods to increase the efficiency of workers, and sometimes it was recommended to wear masks to protect workers from dust in the environment. Such small developments in the field of occupational safety accelerated after the Industrial Revolution and revealed today's modern occupational health and safety science. The purpose of this study is to reveal the importance of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 for our country. Literature review was used during the study. As a result of my study, it was tried to reveal how necessary the institutions and organizations in the field of occupational safety in our country and the legislation in force are for all stakeholders.
