Abstract (EN)

In this work, it?s aimed to be manifested that Abdullah Ziya Kozanoğlu?s, who?s one of the most important people in our historical adventure novelism, place in Turkish Literature and the literary quality of his novels. For this reason, his nine novels that published after 1933 were scholarly analysed.Abdullah Ziya Kozanoğlu, with his historical novels, further side of the offical historic pronunciation, has the aim to bring up with an objective manner to clarify the hidden reasons of the event, to inform reader of these realities and not only our successes in the past but also our failures. Reader, in the novels of writer that writes his novels for this aim, travels of the different periods of Turkish history, and finds the opportunity to evaluture from a different point of view of our history?s many important events, from Mongol invasion to Crusades, from Inebahti sea war to vice?admiral Halil Rebellion.Abdullah Ziya Kozanoğlu?s historical novels have an important role in Turkish nation?s gaining the common history knowledge. Although these novels are not literaryly superior, they have reached a good reader mass and they have provided both those readers have had literary pleasure and those readers have been informed about that historical period.Key Words: Historical Novel, Historical Adventure Novel, Novel, Analysis Of Novel, Abdullah Ziya Kozanoğlu.
