Abstract (EN)

In this study, binuclear [Mn2(µ-adip)(H2O)2(2,2´-bipy)4](CIO4)2 ve [Zn2(µ-adip)(2,2´-bipy)4](CIO4)2·H2O·CH3OH complexes were synthesized by using H2adip (HOOCC4H8COOH) and 2,2´-bipy (C10H8N2) ligands with Mn (II) and Zn (II) metals. The structure of complexes were elucidated by X-ray diffraction, UV-vis and FT-IR spectroscopy. The catalytic oxidation activities of the synthesized complexes on alkenes (cis-stilbene, styrene, cyclohexene, ethylbenzene and 1-octene) containing C=C(sp2)-H group were investigated in different solvent, oxidant, sub./cat. and temperatures. In the oxidation study with cis-stilbene, the highest conversion was obtained in water at 363 K. Comparing the experimental data, it was found that the Mn (II) complex is more active than the Zn (II) complex for the studied substrates and is quite active from catalytic oxidants performed at 313 K against cyclohexene oxidation in both catalysts.
