The life, works and place of musician Ekrem Taşkınsel from Afyonkarahisar in Turkish music

Ekrem Taşkınsel, a violinist, instructor and composer from Afyonkarahisar, who has a deep-rooted musical history, has made major contributions to Turkish music and Afyonkarahisar city culture with his works in the field of music. In this study; It is aimed to provide information about Taşkınseli's life, works and works in the field of music. The study is a descriptive research based on the survey model in terms of its general framework, purpose and method. Preliminary information was obtained by scanning various sources on the subject, and interviews with people who knew and were close to Ekrem Taşkınsel, who was included in the sample, were included as a data collection tool. The works of Taşkınsel, who is accepted as one of the important figures of Afyonkarahisar music and city culture, displaying his talent as a composer were found, and it was understood that these productions reflect the melody, rhythm, genre and lyrics characteristics of Turkish music, and the existing works were classified. Taşkınsel, about whom extensive information has been obtained and who has attracted attention with his approach to Turkish music, his life and works, is an influential musical figure and a qualified music man.
