Abstract (EN)
In the "introduction" section of the thesis that is called An Thesis on Physical and Mental Diseases in the Novels and Stories of Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and consists of two parts, disease was defined and opinions related to disease of philosopher and authors were included; author -disease- literature relationship was mentioned by being specified that authors and poets have diseases; works mentioned about that disease in world and Turkish literature were generally included. In "first section" physical and mental diseases which Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar suffers from were presented by being interpreted within the scope of Tanpınar's biography, diary and letters. In "second section" that is main point of the thesis, physical and mental diseases in Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar's novels and stories were handled. In "conclusion" section, thesis was completed by being included inferences reached at the end of the thesis.
