Abstract (EN)

In this work, the aim is to synthesis, characterise and investigate cholinesterase, tyrosine and alpha-glucosidase enzymes inhibition properties of silicon(IV) phthalocyanine (DFP-Si) bearing axially di-(3,3-diphenylpropoxy) group and copper(II), manganese(III) phthalocyanines (DFP-Cu, DFP-Mn) bearing peripherally tetra-(3,3-diphenylpropoxy) group. 3,3-Diphenylpropan-1-ol and 4-(3,3-diphenylpropoxy)phthalonitrile compounds were synthesized by using methods in literature. Silicon(IV) phthalocyanine bearing axially (3,3-diphenylpropoxy) group were synthesized in toluene in the presence of silicon phthalocyanine dichloride and 3,3-diphenylpropan-1-ol, using sodium hydride at 110 ℃ under nitrogen atmosphere. Peripherally tetra-(3,3-diphenylpropoxy) substituted copper(II), manganese(III) phthalocyanines were synthesized starting from 4-(3,3-diphenylpropoxy)phthalonitrile using metal salts CuCl2, MnCl2 in the presence of n-pentanol and DBU at 160oC. Then, the cholinesterase, tyrosinase and α-glucosidase inhibition properties of silicon(IV) phthalocyanine (DFP-Si) bearing axially di-(3,3-diphenylpropoxy) group and copper(II), manganese(III) phthalocyanines (DFP-Cu, DFP-Mn) bearing peripherally tetra-(3,3-diphenylpropoxy) group were examined using spectrophotometric methods.
