Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY The Investigation of Developing of Eggs and Progenies Which has Occurrence from Albino and Normal Pigmented Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) Broods In this study, occurrence of albino progenies produced from albino x albino and albino x normal pigmented rainbow trout mating has been tested. In addition growth performance of these progenies has been compared. When the rates of albino and normal pigmented progenies are considered, it can be concluded that the albino parents are heterozygous. Because when the albino and normal pigmented broods are crossed, albino : normal ratio is around 1:1. Similarly, when the albino and albino is mated, 25% of the progenies are normal and the rest (75%) is albino. It has been concluded that the albino broods used in this preliminary study were heterozygous and albinizm has epistatic effect on normal pigmentation in rainbow trout. In addition, when two phenotypes are reared in same culture unit, there seems to be no dominance of any of the groups. Key Words: Rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss, normal pigmented, albino, albinizm, epistatic, growth performance, feed conversion ratio
