Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between parental attitudes perceived by children and their self-efficacy perceptions. Participants of the study; Istanbul consists of 162 mothers and children living in the province of Arnavutköy in 2016. A Personal Information Form was prepared by the researcher to collect data and was used to gather information about the demographic characteristics of the participants. 40- item Parental Attitude Scale developed by Kuzgun (1972) and revised by Kuzgun and Eldeleklioğlu (2005) was used to determine the parental attitudes of the participant, ie, the parents. The Self-efficacy perception scale, which was revised and revised by Zeanah (1997), was used to determine the general self-efficacy levels of the parents, based on the most significant dimensions of the relationship between the parent and the child developed by Emde (1989). The data are SPSS18. program. Findings show that there is a significant relationship between parental attitudes of child participants and their mother's self-efficacy perception level. In summary, the democratic attitudes of the mothers vary according to the education level. As the level of education increased, the democratic attitude increased. Emotional competence of the mothers; sensitive response, care and interest, value and democratic attitudes. The findings were discussed based on the relevant literature.
