Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, natural convection inside a rectangular enclosure with two heat sources its sidewall is examined experimentally and numerically. For varying relative positions of the heat sources, various values of ratio of the lengths and ratio of heat fluxes of the heat sources and modified Rayleigh number are studied. Effects of working parameters on heat and fluid flow are determined. Results are presented in terms of heatlines as well as flow and temperature fields (streamlines and isotherms). In addition, variations of maximum surface temperature at the surfaces of the heat sources are obtained by means of global thermal conductance. For an effective cooling, optimum values of the working parameters are determined.
