Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT After Çanakkale Front Line War in the time of the First Word War, XV. Turkish Army Corps consist of two division which is directed by Miralay Yakub Şevki was sent to Galiçya Front for the help of Germany and Austry- Hungary. Turkish Soldier took the command to move abroad on 1916 July, This was the first time going abroud of Turkish Army in its history. XV. Turkish Army Corps fought for a year with allied against Russian forces. XV Turkish Army Corps was well prepared within present ciroumstances and was supparted with military equipment by Germany. Every kind of military epuipment in the hand of Germany Army was offered to Turkish Army in addition to this allied forces closely took care of Turkish Army. XV Turkish Army Corps suffered casulties totally about 15 thousons including martry, wounded and slove 12 thousond of that total were martried. On the other hand it is known that enemy's suffering was more. XV Turkish Army Corps fought about a year with allied forces afterward on 1917 September returned to home from Galicya.
