Abstract (EN)
In architectural designs, technological studies that will help to reduce the negative effects on nature and some methodologies that will make our environment more sustainable are included. In order to achieve a more efficient structure, there is an approach to using innovative natural tools that imitate the environment itself to minimize the negative effects of the building on the environment with low cost sustainable methods by observing the nature. These solutions used in design are introduced with an approach known as biomimicry, biomimicry uses nature in design. In this thesis, various biomimic aspects and levels that can be used in a building to make it sustainable are tried to be presented; In addition, possible solutions are found by examining how all these systems are / can be used in a building. No organism in nature uses as much material as necessary to fulfill the function it undertakes without any excess. In architecture, the aim is to find ways to design the building by making minimum expenditure in cost and resource consumption. It can be inspired to pass wide openings from the spider web with light materials, for a strong structure from bee combs, to obtain natural light from water sponges, to produce self-cleaning glasses from the lotus plant. This thesis is not just the appearance of a building; In addition to aesthetics and appearance, it advocates that the building must be sensitive to the environment. Organisms in nature face challenges like humans, but they meet them in a sustainable way. By watching the animals, plants and their natural processes around us, we can see what works and what doesn't. These observations are helpful both in the design procedure and in generating new ideas using natural skills. Based on this approach, some biomimic solutions are proposed at the end of the thesis.
