Abstract (EN)

In this study, treatment of boron doped metal cutting wastewater was carried out by electrochemical methods and chemical coagulation method. The chemical precipitation was treated with aluminum sulfate (Al2 (SO4) 3.18H2O) and iron (II) chloride (FeCl2.6H2O) as coagulant. At the end of the study, 76,6% COD removal efficiency was obtained with aluminum sulfate coagulant and 75.7% COD removal efficiency was obtained with iron (II) chloride coagulant. In the form of rashing rings for electrochemical treatment; aluminum, iron and graphite electrodes were used. In this study, the effects of parameters such as pH, current density, flow rate, amount of support electrolyte on COD removal efficiency were investigated. In electrochemical coagulation studies, 84% COD removal efficiency was obtained by using iron electrode and 78% COD removal efficiency was obtained by using aluminum electrode. In the study performed by electro-Fenton method, the effect of H2O2 concentration was also examined and 90.9% COD removal efficiency was obtained at the end of the study. As a result of electro-oxidation studies performed with graphite electrode, 67,6% COD removal efficiency was obtained under optimum conditions.
