Abstract (EN)

The parametric cycle analyzes used in the design of gas turbine engines characterize the behavior of the engine only with variables such as temperature and pressure of the flow, regardless of its geometry. The parametric cycle analyzes are associated with design constraints such as combustion chamber outlet temperature by addressing engine design choices such as thrust specific fuel consumption (TSFC), specific thrust, thrust force and fuel / air ratio, as well as engine performance parameters and bypass ratio. In this thesis, the behavior of the engine characteristics were investigated by the parametric cycle analysis of a high bypass, unmixed flow turbofan engine which is the most widely used gas turbine engine type in modern aircraft. In addition to the performance parameters of the engines, the thermal efficiency, thrust efficiency and overall efficiency of the engine were investigated with a new computer program. This program, which was written in the Visual Basic Application (VBA) programming language, and the Excel macro code and Excel code were used to examine the effect of the bypass ratio on the motor characteristics and to simplify the drawing of parametric analysis graphs.
