Abstract (EN)

Çivril Plain, one of the fertile plain in Turkey, is located in Western Anatolia Aegean Region Central Department. Işıklı Lake and Gökgöl Lake are located in Çivril Plain which are the important wetlands in Turkey. Işıklı Lake is in A group wetlands according to the RAMSAR Convention. Geographic Information Systems and remote sensing were used for the determination of the time dependent of the physical geography of the study area and land use. Çivril Plain and it's surrounding area in the years 1987-1995-2013 in order to calculate the time-dependent change of land use Landsat 5 TM+ and LandSAT 7 ETM+ satellite images were obtained, these images analyzed with the ENVİ 5.2 program and supervised classification maps were made. According to these data, the expansion of irrigated agricultural land, shrinking of dry farmland and pastures were determined not seen a significant change in forest area. It is determined that the field of aquatic plants were expand year to year and collapsed of the surface water. People need to be aware of for to achieve the controlled use of the land and to prevent the destruction of the irregular grazing pastures and to protect wetlands. Work to be done in this regard is of great importance for the sustainability of ecosystems. Key Words: Çivril Plain, land use, supervised classification
