Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is, after the nitriding process Ti-6Al-4V alloy, which is formed in the nitrided region, Ti-6Al-4V alloy between the structural, mechanical and biological behavior in the light of other studies to evaluate in the light. Nitriding of Ti-6Al-4V alloy, strength of the products to be produced from this alloy, corrosion, wear and in particular, it is one of the useful methods to minimize the occurrence of ion swing problems in implant applications, to increase the lifetime of the alloy and to be reliable. There are few data on non-standardized samples in the literature for comparison between the surface of the nitrified structure and the titanium alloy surface and the studies conducted previously. Microscopic analysis of nitrided region in the alloy, the microstructure of the nitrified layer on titanium alloy, the comparison of the microhardness of the nitrided layer and the non-nitrided region, the determination of the behavior of the samples in tensile tests and the evaluation of the effects of nitriding in terms of bacterial attachment are among the main objectives of this study.
