Abstract (EN)

Demand for energy is increasing due to Population growth and development of industry. In the recent years, many distributed generation sources has been established to supply this demand in Turkey. Therefore, a lot of river type hydropower plant was established in the Black Sea Region. These plants are built near the energy sources and the generation of electrical power which is coupled to the distribution lines located it's nearby. In this thesis, distributed generators effects on the voltage profile and short circuit current value of the network was investigated. Powerfactory 15.2.5 free version is used in thesis by the permission of DIgSILENT Gmbh. The software protocol key is DIG-CP-12856 / DIG-PF-12856-11126. Simulation shown that mains voltage is improved in times of peak power consumption, prevents overloading of the power transformer but significantly increase the single phase and three phase fault current on power connection nodes and it's nearby areas by distributed generation
