Abstract (EN)
Models play a significant role in dealing with the risks posed by the earthquake and its aftermath. Experts are attempting to improve disaster management by building models that use software and high-tech devices. The role and potential of models employed at the national and international level are the main topics of this thesis study. There are also a few significant tsunami models included. After a comprehensive review of the models, a survey was conducted with the participation of 100 Turkish experts. The study's most striking conclusion is that resilience and vulnerability analyses are important and should be prioritized, 83 percent of participants agreed with this notion. As a result, based on the role of the models and statistical data, recommendations were made to the pertinent institutions.
