Television and television contents, which are one of the most effective means of conveying various codes and messages to large masses, are among the mass media, with the effect of developing technology, it evolves into broadcasting over the internet. With the establishment of various platforms, the messages to be conveyed are started to be transmitted via internet series instead of television series. Many of these messages and codes convey the codes and messages of concepts such as consumer society, spectacle society, and conspicuous consumption. These codes and messages contained in the Black Mirror series constitute the main subject of this research. In this study, five parts of the Black Mirror series were analyzed by the semiotic analysis method and as a result of these examinations, it has been determined that the Black Mirror series deals with the concepts of spectacle, consumption and conspicuous consumption from a dystopian perspective.
