Abstract (EN)

Today, the question of how the Qur'an is read by those who believe or not and to what extent it is understood has always been on the agenda. Similarly, translation studies aimed at understanding the Qur'an have always kept their timeliness. In our country, the Presidency of Religious Affairs is one of the leading institutions in which translation studies are carried out by the state. We see it as a necessary step for the understanding of our great book to examine, compare and evaluate the translations published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, which is an important institution, on such a sensitive subject. Based on this, we in this study; talking about the stories of the translations published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the lives of the authors, and the thoughts of the authors; we aimed to compare and evaluate the translations in terms of meaning, content and appreciation. In addition, examining the extent to which "meaning" has undergone changes in the theology of the republican period, revealing what is the method that provides this change, taking into account the period in which they were written and the changing sociology, are the most important goals of this study. Keywords: Quran, Diyanet, Translations.
