Abstract (EN)

Providing the level of auditory comfort in the volume of audience hall, can be provided by integration of acoustic data with architectural design. Acoustic design, Today as a result of analysis carried out in computer-enhanced programs, helps to provide optimum solutions and to make the space acoustically perfect by calculating the effects of the materials to be used. In a concert hall, if the Level of natural acoustic comfort which stated in international standards is provided, the sound from the source can be reached equally and suitable for all audience. In this context, the thesis; The criteria for evaluating acoustic performance in congress halls were analyzed and one of congress center, was selected as a sample, evaluated for volume acoustics. The Study case, Gaziantep Akkent Congress and Art Center project are covered the process of designing the main hall considering the acoustic and electroacoustic criteria. Acoustic comfort level was designed with ODEON software in the hall. In the last chapter, In the light of the data obtained from the simulation and measurements, the results related to the acoustic performance hall was presented and improvement suggestions were developed.
