A monographic study on Emre Arolat's architecture

Within the scope of Contemporary Turkish Architecture, some architects constitute the focal points of architectural discussions with their designs. Emre Arolat has been one of these architects who influenced Turkish and World Architecture in the last 20 years with his designs, buildings, design discourses, success in competitions and work in professional organizations. This thesis aims to examine in detail the physical and thematic formations of Emre Arolat's architectural designs. In this context, the study is gathered under four titles: General Information, Studies, Findings, Results and Suggestions. In the General Information section, the purpose, scope, method and approach to the subject of the study are presented. In addition, in this section, the definitions related to the subject, the autobiography of Emre Arolat and his design philosophy are given. In the Studies section, all analyzes of the physical and thematic formations made within the scope of the study are placed. In the Findings and Discussion section, the examined buildings are evaluated under the headings of physical and thematic formations. Furthermore, comparisons between the buildings are also added in this section. The Conclusion and Suggestions section includes all the conclusions drawn from the examinations and some suggestions for further studies.
