Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to identify the antimicrobial activating effects, UV-vis spectrum results and antioxidant activities by synthesizing Silver Nanoparticles in a laboratory environment of Melissa officinalis, a medicinal aromatic plant grown in our country. Antimicrobial activity was performed on 18 bacterial isolates with Agar Kuyucuk Diffusion Method in Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Faculty of Science and Letters Microbiology Laboratory. Antimicrobial activities, UV-vis spectra antioxidant activities of M. officinalis AgNO3 in various bacteria were investigated in acetone, methanol, purified water and boiled pure water. Antimicrobial activity of M. officinalis was investigated by obtaining silver nanoparticles in vitro by evaluating the biosynthesis of AgNPs using M. officinalis plant extract. AgNPs were biosynthesized using M. Officinalis extract, and the formation of Ag was performed by UV-vis spectroscopy. The activity of antimicrobial AgNPs was investigated by agar well diffusion method. The plant extract varied in essence from yellow to brown after the formation of AgNPs. Surface Plasmon resonance at 450 nm confirmed the formation of AgNPs. It showed good inhibitory activity against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Protein and phenolic content of M. officinalis L. were also determined. Total phenolic substance content was found as 280 mg for 100 g of fresh plants using Folin Ciocalteu method. M.officinalis L. subsp. The protein content of officinalis was determined as 230 µg / mL using Bradford method. Nanoparticles obtained, good inhibitory activity against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria were shown.
