Abstract (EN)
The aim of this project is to test the performance of Monte Carlo Code GATE V6.2 in dosimetric applications for small structures. In this thesis, S-values for small structures, unit density spheres in various radii, are evaluated with Monte Carlo Code GATE V6.2. First simulations of unit density spheres with uniform distributions of different radionuclides for various radii are done with Monte Carlo Code GATE V6.2. The S- values are calculated from the dose deposited data. The efficiency of Monte Carlo Code GATE V6.2 is tested by comparing the obtained values and reference values that were evaluated with computer program MIRDose.
