Analysis of the relationship of conflict and disaster of married individuals with marriage satisfaction

Abstract (EN)

This study examines the relationship between spousal conflict and forgiveness with marriage satisfaction relation with marital satisfaction and forgiveness and conflict of spouses. The research group consisted of 369 female and 306 male with a total of 675 married individuals. In the study, in order to determine the satisfaction level of the participants from the marriage relationship, the Married Life Scale; to measure the feeling of forgiveness of the participants by their spouses / partners, Subjective Spouse / Partner Forgiveness Scale; to measure the frequency of the conflicts experienced during the marriage, Marriage Conflict Areas Determination Scale and to obtain the demographic information of the participants, Demographic Information Form were applied to participants. Data analysis was conducted via SPSS 22 statistical program. The results indicated that there was a significant relationship between marriage satisfaction, forgiveness and frequency of conflict in marriage. It was observed that there was a positive relationship between marriage satisfaction and forgiveness, a negative relationship between marriage satisfaction and conflict in marriage, and a negative relationship between forgiveness and conflict in marriage. Recommendations based on the research findings were presented in detail in the conclusion.
