Abstract (EN)
The study aimed to reveal the effect of environmental science course on science teacher candidates. In this research, case study method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. Since the data were collected with a questionnaire consisting of six open-ended questions, content analysis technique was used. Thus, the research was a descriptive situation. Sampling technique was used for the study. The participants were determined to be able to reach the researchers easily and there was no problem in the application. In this framework, 40 volunteer candidates who took environmental science lessons from Ahi Evran University third grade and fourth grade science teacher candidates formed the study group. According to the results of the research, when the opinions of science teacher candidates about environmental science course they took in 3rd grade were examined, it was understood that this course should be applied not verbally.
