Abstract (EN)

In this study, teachers' preferences for MEB book activities, worksheets, computer games and visual models that can be applied in the "Sun, Earth and Moon" unit in the "Earth and Universe" subject area of the secondary school 5th grade Science course were evaluated using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. is intended to be determined. For this purpose, 5 main criteria, 26 sub-criteria and 4 alternatives were evaluated. For the research, a survey was applied to 11 expert science teachers working in Ağrı province and Diyadin district. Evaluations were calculated with a spreadsheet designed with MS Excel program. As a result of the evaluations, the order of importance of the main criteria from highest to smallest is as follows: opportunities with 33%, skills with 23%, impact on learning with 21%, peer learning with 13% and applicability with 10%, and the criterion with the highest importance was found to be the facilities criterion. Looking at the importance weights of the 26 sub-criteria, the sub-criterion with the highest global weight was found to be student characteristics with a rate of 0.14%, and the most effective alternative (material) according to the main purpose of the study was found to be the visual model with a rate of 36%.
