Abstract (EN)
In the economics literature, one of the topics that has not yet been clarified is whether defence expenditure has an impact on economic growth. Defence expenditure differs in each country due to the structural differences, political situation and geopolitical position. Therefore, the results of the studies in the literature are different from each other. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between defence expenditure and economic growth in G-8 countries and Turkey.
