Abstract (EN)
In food industry, wastewater contains high COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) level because of wastewater contaminated with row material such as large amount of milk and dairy product, grease. As a result of wastewater which contains high COD level, discharge to severage system without primary treatment, overrated contamination observed at treatment plant which located at the end of discharge point. Due to that reason, receipt for connection permission which has highly important for environment and regislation can not be taken. Post graduate thesis based on researchers experienced problems while trying receipt for connection permission at food company which she has been working for. Topic of thesis is determined with minimum cost, maximum efficiency during wastewater treatment. Finally, wastewater of food industry treatment analized with electrocoagulation method by using galvanic current device with Al and Fe electrodes with the values of 1, 1,5, 2, 2,5, 3 A current densities and suppotive electrolites as Na2SO4 and NaNO3 with the dosage of 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 mM. As a result of this study, during 90 minutes treatment by using Aluminum electrode 51% maximum efficiency observed at 2A and 2,5A current density and 79% maximum efficiency observed at 3A current density with 20mM Na2SO4 supportive electrolite additive. During 90 minutes treatment by using Ferrum electrode 72% maximum efficiency observed at 3A current density and 73% maximum efficiency observed at 2,5A current density with 20mM NaNO3 supportive electrolite additive.
