Abstract (EN)
Traditional Turkish houses are indispensable structures of traditional culture with their interiors and fine building elements elements as well as their original architecture. Considering the construction style and architectural features of Traditional Turkish Houses, the spatial organization of the rooms, the fine buildng and equipment elements were used play an important role. In this study, the fine building elements and space tyology characteristics of the traditional Turkish houses which are located in the Orta Mahalle of Akçaabat District of Trabzon were examined by the contxet of the plan types and structural features. Generally speaking, tradional buildings differ in their location typologies, materials, fine building elements, sizes and layout of the buildngs. As a result, when the plân type, facade and structural features, fine buildng elements and interior design of the houses which were selected in Orta Mahalle are examined, it is sceen that they reflect the general character of the tradional Turkish House.
