Abstract (EN)

In general, to understand the importance of hybrid space architecture in literature, the evaluation of reality concept and the concept of space related to this reality concept should primarily be explained in a process. The rising of hybrid space, its existence and its relationship with other architecture branches are the base of this process. Presentation of functional sides of these concepts refers to architectural approaches. Hybrid Space architecture is explained with the examples of the usage in different areas. Next, a systematic classification and description are made referring to other people?s ideas of those concepts and the situations of discrepancies or matching or conflictions. This classification is divided into three groups as reality, space and architectural approaches. In the research, the comparison table of different terminologies with the same meaning is made by looking at the results of assessment of reality and space concepts according to different points of view.In the second stage of the research, the assumption that hybrid space affects positively the functional side which is the paradigm of space organization is proved with the examples. Hybrid space architecture?s function area is specified to debate its effects on the designs. With the examples chosen, the finding which is obtained to prove the benefits of hybrid space architecture is presented.
