Abstract (EN)
In this research, it is aimed to find out primary education second level students' test anxiety level and their opinions about the effects of group guidance. This research with the sample of 152 eighth grade students from three primary education schools, in the capital of Usak Province. After administred 'Test Anxiety Enventory" developed by Oner in 1990 to students, they participated eight sesions group guidance in six groups. After group guidance sessions, the same enventory adminestered as a post test. In addition to this enventory, students answered "Group Guidance Opinion Enventory" to evaluate group guidance sessions. This sessions were arranged one time in a week for all groups. There were activities in the sessions about study skills, preperation exam and taking exam. Frequency and percentages of data were calculated and the null hypotheses were tested by F and t test by using SPSS 8.0 computer softwere. The findings of this research can be summerized as the following: 1. Before group guidance the mean of students' test anxiety levels mean was 60 points over 80. 2. Before group guidance female students had 2 more mean points than male students. 3. After group guidance the mean of students' test anxiety levels mean was 30 points over 80. 4. After group guidance female students had 0.5 more mean points than male students. 5. Generally, the mean of students' opinions about group guidance was 54 as a total score of 60 points. In the result, according to students' opinions, it can be said that group guidance has effect to reduce students' test anxiety level in the second level of primary schools.
