Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to determine the flora of Güzelyurt (Aksaray) county town and the area between the Sivrihisar Hill, Gaziemir Town and Ilısu Village. It was determined that 844 plant specimens collected from the area between 2013- 2015. Field studies lasting one day a week in the form of day trips are made periodically. It was determined that 490 taxa that belong 66 families ( Pteridophyta 2, Magnoliophyta 64) and 265 genera was determined. 3 taxa belong to Pteridophyta and 487 taxa belong to Magnoliophyta divisio. Pinophytina are represented by 3 taxa and Magnoliophyta are represented by 484 taxa. The number of endemic taxa within the study area is 68 (13.87%). Distributions of the plant taxa in terms of phytogeografical regions are as follows: Irano-Turanian elements are 126 taxa (25.51%), Euro.-Siberian elements 26 taxa (5.31%), East Mediterranean elements 26 taxa (5.31%) and widespread and others which their regions unclarified 313 taxa (63.87%). The research area appeals to the alternative forms of tourism, including tourism flora, in having historical and cultural texture, geographical features, faunal and floral richness.
