Abstract (EN)

In the first stage of this thesis, carbohydrazone derivatives (3a,b) were synthesized in good yield as a result of the reaction of acylhydrazide compounds (1a,b) with 2-thiophenaldehyde (2) in an acidic environment. Complex structures were obtained as a result of the reaction of the synthesized ligands with [RuCl2(p-cymene)]2. The structures of the synthesized molecules were elucidated using spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C APT-NMR and ESI–MS. In the second stage of this study, the effectiveness of ruthenium complexes in the catalytic hydrogenation reaction of 2-Nitroaniline (2NA) and 4-Nitroaniline (4NA) substrates in the presence of NaBH4 was examined in aqueous environment. It has been observed that both complexes are effective catalysts in the hydrogenation reaction of 2-nitroaniline and 4-nitroaniline in the presence of NaBH4.
