Business service employees analysis of the relationships between personality characteristics and tendencies of intrapreneurship

Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study, personality is to analyze the relation between the personality traits that service employees have and their tendency to intrapreneurship. To carry out the study, data were collected from state and private hospitals. The face to face interview technique was used to collect the data.The population of the study includes employees who work at the hospitals in the center of Aksaray province. The data obtained from the questionnaires, which were answered by 205 employees working at two private hospitals an done state hospital, were analyzed. In or der to test the research hypotheses put forward, the data obtained from the questionnaires, which had been administrated in health sector, were analyzed by t-test and variance analysis, in accordance with the purpose and scope of study.According to the results of the study, it was found out that there were relations between some of the personality traits and some dimensions of intrapreneurship: sensing and innovation; thinking and proactiveness, innovationess; extraversion and risk-taking , proactiveness, innovationess; innovatione, judging and risk-taking, proactiveness, innovationess.It was also found out that there were negative relations between some of the personality traits and some dimensions of intrapreneurship: intuition and risk-taking, proactiveness; feeling andb risk-taking, proactiveness, innovationess; introversion, perceptive and proactiveness, innovationess.
