The effect of some pre-processes on graining of seeds of jujube (Ziziphus jujuba)

It was determined effacement of germination barrier of Jujube (Ziziphus jujuba) seeds, germination percentage and rate in this study. Jujube seeds were collected from jujube trees in 2018 in Isparta. They were protected at 4±1°C in refrigerator after they were dried in the shade by cleaning fruit flesh until pre-treatment and planting time. The seeds were prepared to sowing by treaeting with concentrated H2SO4 as pre-treatment. The seeds were sown by using 45 seeds with 3 replications under greenhouse conditions in February. The highest germination percentage was determined as % 51.4 in seeds sown embryoes of them by breaking the pot trays in under greenhouse conditions
