Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to investigate the microfungi of common mistletoe harmful for trees in middle Kızılırmak Section of Central Anatolia Region and investigation of the use of these microfungi in biocontrol. In this research, 12 fungal species from Ascomycota (3 class, 7 order, 12 family, 12 genera and 12 species) developing on Viscum album L. were identified. Of these, Aureobasidium harposporum, Botryosphaeria visci, Phyllosticta visci and Plenodomus visci have potential as a biological control agent against of this hemiparasite. Metadiplodia tephrostoma and Plenodomus visci were recorded first time for Turkish mycobiota.
