Abstract (EN)
In this study, first of all, general information is given by researching Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and the brief history of UAVs and the historical issues of UAV studies in Türkiye are briefly presented. After the historical information, in order to examine the issues of UAVs and their integration into the airspace, the definition of UAVs, their classes, purposes of use, advantages and disadvantages are emphasized, and the mission areas in which UAVs are used are stated as preliminary information. The main areas where UAVs work are grouped under the main headings of agricultural purposes, mapping of residential areas, monitoring of natural life and ecological observations, traffic observations and geological research. Following the sections on UAVs and these technologies, general information is presented about the institutions working in the field of UAV in our country and important developments for our country. In this thesis, inferences have been made for our country by listing the things that Türkiye should do in the future in the context of UAV studies and the integration of UAVs into our airspace. In addition, the possible problems and difficulties that may arise in the process of increasing the presence of UAVs in the aviation system are mentioned and what can be done is mentioned.
