Examinations of psychometric qualities of applied tests by primary second-tier math teachers

The study aims to examine the psychometric feartures qualities of the exams prepared by the second grade math teaches at primary schools. For this purpase maths exams of 6th, 7th and 8th grade studets received from National Education Directorate of kepez District are analyzed with the method of document review. In this context, 6th grade students in 30 schools, 7th grade students in 21 schools and 8th grade students in 37 schools studied for the math exams. Furthermore, the math exams prepared by the second grade math teachers at primary schools and the varience of the Level Determination Exam (SBS) Math Subtest are examined according to the Taxonamy of Educational Objectives of Ministry Of Education. As a result of the study,the measuring instruments prepared by the second grade maths teachers at primary schools are limited to provide content validity.It is observed that there are expressional mistakes affecting the reliability of the exams and lack of instruction.It would be true to explain that SBS Math test is limited in terms of content validity.It is observed that the analogy between the achiewements SBS Math subtest. Achievements on the exams expected by the teachers from gained is not sufficient. According to the distributions at the questions prepared by the math teachers, the questions are consist of comprehension grade for 6th and 8th grades, problem solving grade for 7th grade.As to the distributions of SBS maths subtest in 2010 problem solving questions for 6th grade, comprehensional and problem solving questions for 7th grade and comprehensional questions for 8th grade are acquired.
