Abstract (EN)

This study investigates how empowered leadership affects employee engagement in Kabul's private banking sector, using emotional stability as a mediating element. Data from 248 employee were collected on a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression. The findings indicate that empowered leadership improves both emotional stability and staff engagement. Emotional stability also increases engagement and helps to balance the relationship between leadership and engagement. Empowering methods like trust-building and collaborative decision-making promote autonomy and emotional well-being, resulting in increased job involvement and pleasure. The study emphasizes the value of emotionally supportive leadership in improving employee morale and productivity. It adds to the literature on leadership and participation by proposing further study using larger samples and longitudinal approaches.
