Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, as a result of developing digital technology, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) is being experienced. With Industry 4.0 qualified manpower is expected to come to the forefront in terms of organizations. Ensuring the satisfaction of their employees and increasing their organizational commitment is an important issue for the organizations to sustain their existence and reach their goals. Therefore, the importance of the terms of job satisfaction and organizational commitment is increasing day by day. The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study consists of three parts. In the first part; the definition of job satisfaction, the importance of job satisfaction, the factors affecting job satisfaction and the results of job dissatisfaction are discussed and the term of job satisfaction is explained. In the second part, the definition and importance of organizational commitment, the classification of organizational commitment, the factors affecting the organizational commitment and the results of the organizational commitment are explained. At both parts, it was aimed to explain the issues better by given some examples from Turkey and other countries in line with the published reports and statistical datas. In the third part, with the results of the survey conducted on the employees of state educational institutions in Sarıyer District the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment were determined.
