Abstract (EN)

In today's world, the development of technology and accompanying globalization have directed businesses to human resources. Human resources play an important role in the life continuity of businesses and in gaining superiority against their competitors. Many factors affect the recruitment of human resources that are valuable for the business. A qualitative research was conducted to determine the factors affecting the personnel selection process and personnel selection in enterprises, and the factors affecting personnel selection in the enterprises, in order to indicate that these factors change according to the sector, region and time. The study was applied to market chains with carpet companies operating in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone. 31 people were interviewed face to face in obtaining the data. MAXQDA program was used in the analysis of the data obtained during the interviews. With this study, four factors affecting the selection of personnel in enterprises were obtained. These factors are; candidate-related factors, legal factors, business-related factors and job-specific factors.
