Abstract (EN)
Determination of Postoperative Care Dependence of Liver Transplant Patients Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the level of postoperative care dependence of liver transplant patients. Material Method: This descriptive study was conducted between October 2015 and July 2019 at Inonu University Liver Transplantation Institute Liver Transplantation Clinics. The population of the study consisted of adult patients who underwent liver transplant surgery in this clinic. The sample consisted of 141 patients selected by random sampling method. Patient Identification Form was used to determine the descriptive characteristics of the patients and Care Dependence Scale was used to assess the care addiction status. Data were collected by the researcher by face to face interview method one to four weeks after the operation. Mean, standard deviation, number, percentage, t test according to data characteristics and Anova ANOVA were used for statistical evaluation of the data. Results: It was determined that the care addictions of the patients who participated in the research were at the middle level. When the mean scores of 1st and 2nd follow-up scores of the Care Dependence Scale subscales of patients were compared, the difference between all items except ma Follow the Rules "subscale was statistically significant (p<0.05). It was determined that the patients were more dependent on mobility, body cleaning, daily activities, body posture, dressing and worship activities. Conclusion: Liver transplantation patients' postoperative dependence level decreased significantly. Keywords: Nurse, Liver Transplantation, Care Dependence.
