Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted by Seibert, Kraimer, Holtom, and Pierotti (2013) to determine the positive and negative career shock experienced by individuals who have work experience, and the scale named "Career Shock Scale", which was developed by individuals between the ages of 25-45 who had previously worked or still working. It is the work of adapting it to Turkish by applying it to people. Within the scope of validity, the adapted scale aims to determine the positive and negative career shock experienced by individuals in terms of gender, marital status, educational status, number of employees and working time, variables. In addition, it aims to determine the role of general health, quality of relationships, positive adjustment, depression, moral support, friendship, career and sleep difficulties, which are life balance sub-dimensions, in predicting career shock sub-dimensions. In line with these goals, individuals; Personal Information Form, Career Shock Scale and Life Balance Scale were applied. There were 44 participants for the linguistic equivalence of the scale, 73 for the test-retest method, 190 for the tests performed for validity and reliability analysis, and 477 participants between the ages of 25-45 who had working experience in the application of the adapted scale. Research data were analyzed through SPSS and AMOS programs. It has been determined that the "Career Shock Scale" adapted into Turkish is a valid and reliable measurement tool. participants with working experience.
