Abstract (EN)
In soil stabilization aim is to heal improvement of physical, hydraulic, mechanical and chemical properties of weak soils. Many soil improvement methods has been developed to increase the bearing capacity of road pavements will be built on the subgrades and to reduce deformations (settlements). In this study, high plasticity clayey road subgrade soil was investigated was investigated experimentally its stabilization with lime and waste which obtained from processing of colemanite. For this purpose, test mixtures were prepared adding 0%, 5%,10%, 15% and 20% without lime and, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% with lime. According to results of the experiments, Combinatons of colemanite waste and lime showed higher improvement engineering properties of soil such as workability, plasticity, compressibility and resistance compared to only samples within colemanite waste. Otherwise, it was determined that less improvement than only samples with lime. This experimantal study unveils that mixture containing 10% colemanite waste and 10% lime is the best convenient solution in the stabilization of soil.
