Abstract (EN)
The loss of teeth impairs patients' like appearance, masticatory and speech etc. These functional disorders effetct the quality of patients' life standarts. To restore these functions, removable partial or complete dentures are often used. It is seen in many researches that the fail or fracture in maxillary dentures occur more often than mandibular dentures. In our study the finite element method was used for determine stress analysis in critical parts of maxillary denture. In tempreature 0 C°,36 C°,70 C° and 230 N occlusal load with the suitable boundary condition was applied specimens which was reinforced with CrCo, unidirectional carbon, unidirectional glass, unidirectional kevlar, woven carbon, woven glass and woven kevlar. Also the fiber reinforcements' Tsai-Wu failure criteria was evaluated.
