Abstract (EN)
The LEO satellite have been used commonly to collect information from Earth surface for science, military or any other governmental missions. The satellite then transmits the collected data to the dedicated ground stations in polar region or inside the target country. Because of the limited observation of these ground stations, the LEO satellite has limited time interval for data transmission. On the other hand, using a GEO satellite to relay the data to the main ground station is becoming more popular recently because of its advantages. There are also successful experiments and studies on the subject. In this study, a system consists of LEO-GEO and Ground station is suggested and some system parameters are improved. By doing so, an uninterruptable and more data transmission is achieved from LEO to Ground stations via GEO satellite for Turkey example. The laser communication link between LEO and GEO is selected. From GEO to Ground; RF link is selected.
