Abstract (EN)
An Examination of Hadith in Tolstoy's The Sayings of Muhammad Not Included in the Quran. This thesis explains a scholarly examination of ninety-three Hadiths featured in Leo Tolstoy's work. The sayings of muhammad not included in the Qur'an. Mainly focused on the sources and authenticity of the sayings within the classic Islamic Hadith literature. Tolstoy's work which was compiled from Abdullah Suhrawardy's ''The Sayings of Muhammad'' for each hadith, its original Arabic text was precisely identified, its degree of authenticity systematically explained, and its presence with in the classic hadith literatüreand islamic sources was established. This study aims to elucidate the profound extent of Tolstoy' intellectual engagement with Islam and the universal messages of Prophet Mohammad, while also assessing the reliability of the presented narrations.
