Logistics and supply chain management indicators and effects on firm performance

The concept of the competition is not between the companies anymore in today's environment where the everchanging structure of the costumer demands and market dynamics and the shape of competition between companies changes, it started to be lived in the network where the companies are located. Under this scope, supply chain and logistic performances became more important for the companies. In this research, it is aimed to make a detailed evaluation to show the effect of logistic strategies and supply chain management of the enterprises, that show efficiency in the development speed, to the company performances. The research and the outputs is very important in terms of evaluation whether the logistic that is used in the companies and the supply chain applications are effective on the enterprises' performance or not and very important to be a example for the different companies. Under this research's scope, innovation, trust and supplier performance, information sharing with the costumers, information sharing between departments, cost performance, technology performance, activity performance and enterprise performance are tried to be measured. The managers, showing activity under a private holding and working in the production and distribution enterprises, are determined as target group. It is tried to reach to the conclusions, that are wanted to be emphasized throughout the thesis, with the created hypothesis. In terms of conclusions appeared in accordance with the analysis, it is clear that this research can be very effective on the companies theoric and administrative contributions in general manner.
