Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate spontaneous remission, response rate to immunosuppressive therapy, progression rate of disease and patient survival situation of glomerulonephritis patients. Yöntem:In this study, over 18 years old patients, biopsy results were reported as membranous glomerulonephritis, were enrolled. At the end of conservative observation or immunosuppressive therapy, the patients protein levels below 0,3 gr in 24 hours urine samples described as complete remission, the patients protein levels below 3,5 gr and/or detected 50% or above decrease among peak proteinuria level in 24 hours urine samples described as partial remission, the patients protein levels above 3,5 gr in 24 hours urine samples described as no remission or nonresponse. The data of study were analyzed with SPSS version 18.0 statistical package program. p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The mean age of the patient was 56.3 years and %50 of the patients were below 60 years old. Of the patients, %86.2 were men, %13.8 were women, %86.2 were primary and %13.8 were secondary glomerulonephritis. While %13,1 of patients had a complete remission, and %18,4 had spontaneous partial remission. Total spontaneous remission rate was %31,5. %68,4 of patient had no spontaneous remission. There were no statistically significance between mean survival rate and gender, age, immunosuppressive therapy, comorbidity and stage. There were no statistically significance between Hazard Ratio and gender, age, immunosuppressive therapy, comorbidity and stage. Conclusion:In this study, there were no statistically significance between the initial proteinuria levels and histological stage of patients. Moreover no statistically significant effect were detected between histologically stage of MGN and spontaneous remission, response rate to immunosuppressive therapy and survival. Key words:MGN, immunosuppressive treatment, spontaneous remission, survival
